The Fleece Inn in West Yorkshire are recruiting for an Apprentice Commis Chef. The successful candidate will work towards their Lvel 2 Catering and Hospitality which will take approximately 16 months to complete.
Duties:
• Prepare food from fresh
• Following recipes and menu specifications
• Shadowing head chefs
• Baking desserts from fresh
• Bulk work, making pies and lasagnes
• Making sauces, soups and salad dressing
• Cooking meals and plating up
• General housekeeping of the kitchen
Requirements:
• Clean and hygienic
• Presentable
• Punctual and reliable
• Able to work under pressure
• Friendly and approachable
• Team working
• Able to take instructions
• Must have reliable transport due to no public transport links
• Desirable if you have Food Safety and Allergen awareness
Grades:
No formal qualifications required.
Hours:
5 days a week / 35 hours a week / Earliest start is 7:30am – Latest is 21:30pm / 20 minutes every 6 hours (paid break)
