About Us
Stonegate is the largest pub company in the UK, operating approximately 4,400–4,800 managed, leased, and tenanted venues across England, Wales and Scotland under brands such as Slug & Lettuce, Be At One, Walkabout, Popworld, Sports Bar & Grill, Craft Union, Yates’s, Tattershall Castle, Fever Bars, and more.
Through acquisitions—including Town & City (2011), Tattershall Castle (2015), Walkabout and Be At One (2016–18), Bar Fever (2019), and Ei Group in March 2020—Stonegate grew to over 5,000 sites with around 1,300 managed and 3,300 leased/tenanted pubs.
It employs more than 10,000 head office and pub staff, with many more through its tenant network across the pub estate.
