You will act as an ambassador for your own hotel and the wider Leonardo Hotels estate, demonstrating the company vision, mission and values. At all times, you will treat others around you with respect, dignity and fairness.</p>
<p>As a Sous Chef, you&#8217;ll be the backbone of the team as you&#8217;ll be working with the Head Chef to inspire and motivate the team, ensuring that all guests have memorable experiences with us. Take a deep breath because you&#8217;ll be stepping into a busy role! <p><strong>The Role:</strong></p>
<p>We&amp;rsquo;re looking for a strong  Senior Chef  with solid  banqueting and high-volume buffet experience  to join our busy events kitchen. Supporting the  Kitchen Manager , you&amp;rsquo;ll help deliver weddings, functions, and large-scale buffet service to a consistently high standard.</p>
<p>This role suits a chef who thrives under pressure, leads from the front, and takes pride in quality and consistency.</p>
<ul>
<li>What You&amp;rsquo;ll Be Doing:</li>
<li>Delivering high-quality food for  weddings, events, and large buffets</li>
<li>Handling  high-volume service  with speed, consistency, and control</li>
<li>Supporting the  Kitchen Manager  with day-to-day kitchen operations</li>
<li>Leading and supporting junior chefs during service</li>
<li>Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene</li>
<li>Assisting with stock control and reducing waste    What We Need:</li>
<li>Proven experience in a  Senior Chef / Sous Chef / strong CDP role</li>
<li>Banqueting + high-volume buffet experience essential</li>
<li>Confident in fast-paced, high-pressure environments</li>
<li>Strong organisation and team leadership skills</li>
<li>Solid knowledge of food safety and kitchen standards    Why Join Us?</li>

<p>Duties</p>
<ul>
<li>Prepare, cook, and present a variety of dishes in accordance with established recipes and quality standards</li>
<li>Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow</li>
<li>Manage food production processes, ensuring timely delivery of orders</li>
<li>Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness in the kitchen</li>
<li>Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and minimising waste</li>
<li>Train and mentor junior team members to develop their culinary skills</li>
<li>Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction</li>
<li>Monitor food presentation and ensure consistency across all dishes served</li>
<li>Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences    Skills</li>
<li>Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a hospitality or restaurant setting</li>
<li>Supervising experience with a track record of leading successful culinary teams</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices</li>
<li>Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently</li>
<li>Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire team members</li>
<li>Experience in food production, restaurant operations, and serving customers</li>
<li>Good communication skills to coordinate effectively with staff and suppliers</li>
<li>A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes</li>
<li>Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail   This role is ideal for a dedicated Chef eager to bring creativity and professionalism to our establishment while fostering a positive team atmosphere.</li>
