<p>As a Chef you will be:</p>
<ul>
<li>Supporting the Head Chef for the day-to-day running of the kitchen.</li>
<li>Maintaining good food storage procedures and stock rotation according to established procedures.</li>
<li>Preparing, planning and cooking meals to a consistently high standard, taking account of any special requests or dietary requirements within the unit.</li>
<li>Serving service users, staff and visitors with food and beverage in a professional and courteous services manner.</li>
<li>Preparing and producing foods for conferences and banquets.</li>
<li>Participating in food costings through effective cost control procedures.</li>
<li>Adhering to the ‘Safer Food Better Business’ standards and record keeping.</li>
<li>Adhering strictly to Food Hygiene Regulations and other safety procedures at all times.</li>
<li>Taking full shift responsibility for the catering operation</li>
<li>Assisting the Head Chef by researching and creating new menus ensuring meals are of a high quality and compliment healthy eating guidelines.</li>
<li>Correctly filing of all paperwork in relation to the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point system (HACCP) i.e. Fridge temperatures, food temperature logs and cleaning schedules</li>
<li>To be successful in this role, you&#8217;ll need:</li>
<li>To be 18 years or older</li>
<li>GCSE or equivalent English</li>
<li>City &amp; Guilds 706/1 and 2 (or equivalent) Basic Food Preparation Cooking</li>

<p>Bosbury, Hereford, Herefordshire,HR8 1HB You will be working at Stanley House, a service which offers a multidisciplinary approach to its long term care provision and provides the specialised care and expert therapeutic interventions.</p>
<p>Working as part of the multidisciplinary team, you will support and enable residents to undergo reviews of their specific and/or changing needs. Stanley House offers therapies and activities which include Physiotherapy and Art therapy and receives input from a Professor in Neuropsychiatry and monthly specialist GP clinics.</p>
<p>Residents at Stanley House have varying needs, from being able to manage some of their own needs, to being fully reliant. This includes personal care involving washing, dressing, shaving and helping with continence needs. Helping residents to eat is also a big part of the daily routine.</p>
<p>End-of-life care is also provided to enable residents to stay in the comfort and familiar surroundings at Stanley House, where their family can also be supported.</p>
<p>There’s plenty of fun to be had too, through supporting residents to take part in regular communal activities, from providing wheelchair and walking assistance, to afternoons of laughter with bouncy castles, family fun days and trips to the local café, shops and bowling. Its these precious moments that are most rewarding and make it all worthwhile.</p>

<p>You will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes, contributing to a dynamic kitchen team that delivers exceptional dining experiences. <li>To qualify for selection, you must have the following minimum requirements: &#8211;</li>
