<p>A fast paced environment working within a team of 6 experienced chefs.</p>
<p>Full time written contract with Pension Scheme. 28 Days holiday. Closed for Christmas Day &amp; Boxing Day. Overtime.</p>
<p>Guaranteed minimum 40 hours per week.</p>

<li>Applicant must have a minimum 1 year experience</li>
<li>Role:</li>
<li>&amp;middot; Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues</li>
</ul>
<p>&amp;middot; Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations &amp;middot; Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.) &amp;middot; Follow the guidance of the head chef or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes &amp;middot; Put effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and quality</p>

<li>&amp;middot; Enforce strict health and hygiene standards</li>
</ul>
<p>&amp;middot; Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation &amp;middot; Ensure all ingredients &amp; stock levels are maintained on a daily basis to ensure all dishes are available from the menu.</p>
<p>&amp;middot; Ensure preparation/task lists are completed on a daily basis to maintain a smooth service</p>

<p>Live-In available Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join their kitchen team as a Sous Chef.</p>
<p>The Hotel Folk have a fantastic opportunity as they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic  Sous Chef  to join their team at Ogilvie&#8217;s Restaurant based at  Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel , and also covering our leading coastal events venue at  Thorpeness Country Club .</p>
<p>We are looking for a professional and hard-working Senior Sous Chef with a passion for food, who will be able to support the Head Chef in managing and motivating the kitchen team. You must have a minimum of 3 years&#8217; previous experience in a sous chef position in a hotel or restaurant which must include a la carte restaurant and banqueting knowledge. You will be required to assist the Head Chef to plan and deliver balanced menus that offer interest, quality and are to a consistently high standard. You will deputise and have total responsibility for the Kitchen in the Head Chef&amp;rsquo;s absence, and work alongside and supervise a team of 8 chefs and 12 kitchen porters.</p>
<p>You must be eligible to work in the UK to apply for this role.   We do not provide sponsorship.</p>
<p>We do have a live-in accommodation available within walking distance of the hotel.</p>

<p>Are you an experienced  Chef de Partie  looking for an exciting new challenge?</p>
<p>We are currently looking for an experienced  CDP (Chef de Partie) , to join the friendly kitchen team working in our delightful  Ogilvie&#8217;s Restaurant  at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel. This is a full time role where you would be working in the hotel and at times at our wedding venue also based in Thorpeness.</p>
