We enjoy a strong and growing trade, serving traditional, hearty, home-cooked dishes that cater to both loyal locals and visiting tourists.</p>
<p>Due to increasing demand, we are looking for a Chef de Partie / Junior Sous Chef to join our experienced and supportive kitchen team.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Dukeries Lodge recently underwent a major &amp;pound;1.5million refurbishment, with 17 beautifully designed bedrooms and a cosy pub/restaurant.</p>
<p>As a Line Chef you are at the forefront of our kitchen team, producing meals to a high standard and company specification. This is a fast-paced busy environment where our customers expect high quality and standards of food with good service times, even during busier periods.</p>
<p>You should ensure that you produce all meals to specification consistently; with all due diligence adhered to throughout. Contribute ideas to specials and events and ensure that all our kitchen team perform to a high standard. During quieter periods, you will be required to prepare in advance, be ahead of the game and ensure that the kitchen is well always stocked; speed of service whilst maintaining high standards and quality is vital.</p>
<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ensure that dishes are prepared and cooked according to the specific site standards.</li>
<li>Ensure that stock is ordered in line with company policy.</li>
<li>Ensure that stock is rotated and controlled including food labelling within the specific section of the kitchen</li>
<li>Ensure full understanding of the functional administration of the site.</li>
<li>Maintain a detailed knowledge of the full menu and be able to explain dish descriptions.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the H&amp;S act 1974 and Food Hygiene.</li>
<li>Ensure all policies, procedures, standards and guidelines are carefully adhered to.</li>
<li>Adhere to prescribed standards of personal hygiene and grooming</li>
<li>Perform any other duties as required</li>
<li>To ensure that all cleaning rotas are adhered to and carried out in a timely and effective manner.</li>
<li>To ensure that all food hygiene due diligence paperwork is completed in a correct and timely manner.</li>
<li>To build a good working relationship with the team and deliver training and support to team members as required.</li>
<li>To communicate effectively with the kitchen team and all members of the management team.   Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent</li>
<li>Pay: Up to &amp;pound;13.00 per hour</li>
