<p>This is a key role for us &amp;mdash; helping us grow the business, improve how the kitchen runs day to day, and maintain the quality we&amp;rsquo;re building everything around.</p>
<p><strong>The Role</strong></p>
<p>This is a mix of breakfast service and kitchen prep, working closely with our head chef to set the kitchen up for the day ahead.</p>
<ul>
<li>You&amp;rsquo;ll be responsible for:</li>
<li>Running a simple, high-quality breakfast service</li>
<li>Preparing ingredients and components for lunch and dinner service</li>
<li>Keeping the kitchen organised, stocked and ready for service</li>
<li>Supporting the head chef in maintaining consistency and standards   You&amp;rsquo;ll often be working independently in the mornings, so being organised and self-sufficient is key.</li>
</ul>
<p>What We&amp;rsquo;re Looking For We&amp;rsquo;re not looking for anything overly complicated &amp;mdash; just someone solid, reliable and good to work with.</p>
<ul>
<li>You should:</li>
<li>Be comfortable working on your own and managing your time</li>
<li>Take pride in doing simple things well</li>
<li>Stay calm and organised during service</li>
<li>Be consistent and reliable week to week</li>
<li>Have some kitchen experience (breakfast experience is a bonus, not essential)    Why This Role Works Well</li>

You&#8217;ll be the operational powerhouse of our kitchen &#8211; leading a talented team &amp; working closely with Henry to keep things fresh, exciting &amp; consistently delicious. Creating seasonal menus, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation &amp; hygiene. Managing food costs &amp; stock levels &amp; collaborating on events, specials &amp; pop-ups.</p>
<p>The hours are suuuuuper sociable: Tuesday-Thursday 9:30am-3:30pm, Friday-Saturday 9:30am-3:30pm &amp; 5:30pm-9pm. Sunday-Monday off. That&#8217;s five evenings off a week, as well as a weekend day!</p>

<p>Swan Inn, Low Street, Hoxne, Eye IP215AS We’re looking for an experienced and organised Pub Chef to lead the kitchen at The Swan Inn, a soon to be re-launched village pub serving quality, seasonal food in a relaxed, welcoming setting.</p>
<p>This role is about consistent, well-executed pub food, strong kitchen leadership, and running a calm, efficient kitchen. You’ll have the autonomy to shape menus within a clear framework, while working closely with the General Manager and owners. There is an opportunity to push this pub into a premium bracket with the menu.</p>
<p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Leading the kitchen day-to-day and setting food standards</li>
<li>Menu planning with a focus on seasonal, well-priced pub food</li>
<li>Managing food GP, stock control, ordering and waste</li>
<li>Training, leading and motivating the kitchen team</li>
<li>Ensuring food safety, hygiene and compliance standards are met</li>
<li>Working collaboratively with front of house to deliver great service</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>
