Hours Per Week: 8 – Including Weekends British Garden Centres are looking for a Chef/baker to bring your ideas and talents to our fast-growing company of over 78 Centres and growing. • Skills needed:
• Experience of working in a busy kitchen
• Creative at making dishes but also able to work to specs
• Knowledge of HACCP
• Able to manage multiple orders
• Good time management
• Level 2 basic food hygiene is an advantage

Experience working as a Line chef Previous baking experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided Duties include:

• Develop and produce daily and weekly specials, ensuring creativity, consistency, and alignment with the venue’s standards.
• Prepare all main meals in accordance with established recipes and specifications, maintaining portion control and quality.
• Carry out daily food preparation tasks, ensuring ingredients and mise en place are ready for service.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation across the kitchen at all times.
• Work in compliance with HACCP and all food safety procedures, ensuring safe storage, handling, and preparation of food.
• Bake and produce home-made cakes and desserts, ensuring freshness, quality, and visual appeal.
