Overview We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. The Chef will be responsible for overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring food safety standards are met, and maintaining high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
• Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow
• Manage food production processes, including portion control and presentation standards
• Oversee food safety procedures, ensuring compliance with health regulations and hygiene standards
• Lead menu planning, ingredient sourcing, and inventory management
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor kitchen operations during service hours, resolving any issues promptly
• Train new staff members in food preparation techniques and safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times Requirements
• Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Strong culinary skills with a comprehensive understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Supervising experience with the ability to manage a team effectively
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene standards
• Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and foster teamwork
• Experience in menu development, food production, and restaurant operations
• Exceptional organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and quality control
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
