The Royal Oak – Country Pub | Staffordshire Moorlands We’re on the lookout for a talented and passionate Head Chef or Sous Chef to join our growing team at The Royal Oak – a busy, independent country pub known for quality food, great atmosphere, and proper hospitality.

• What We’re Looking For:
• Strong experience as a Sous Chef ready to step up or an established Head Chef
• Passion for fresh, seasonal, pub food done properly
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a kitchen team
• Confident with stock control, ordering, and GP management
• Calm under pressure in a busy service
• Someone who cares about consistency, quality, and presentation
• ️ What You’ll Be Doing:
• Running day-to-day kitchen operations
• Creating and developing menus (with owner input)
• Leading service and maintaining high standards
• Managing kitchen hygiene, food safety & compliance
• Training and supporting junior staff
