Summary The Ferryman Inn, located by the River Thames and next to a 350-caravan holiday park, features two bars, a restaurant, a function room, and six guest rooms. Often hosts events and live music, we’re now seeking an enthusiastic and experienced chef to join our welcoming team and provide excellent service!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Monitor inventory and highlight low stock to the pub manager as needed to maintain kitchen efficiency.

• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation.
• Culinary qualifications or certifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for guests. Please note: remote location, personal transport is required. Pay range can be negotiated.
