Job Summary We are seeking talented and experienced Chefs to join our culinary teams across our hospitality venues in Belfast, The Thirsty Goat, Hell Cat Maggie’s, McHugh’s, The Kitchen and Kelly Cellar’s.

The ideal candidate’s will possess a passion for food and hospitality, along with the ability to lead and inspire a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, ensuring high standards of food safety, and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Duties

• Supervise kitchen staff and manage daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient food production.
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
• Lead the culinary team in menu planning, recipe development, and food preparation techniques.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering an environment of teamwork and professional growth.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in team management and supervising kitchen staff.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and presentation styles.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
