56 North is an award winning family-owned, independent bar & restaurant serving local, fresh produce across our menu We are looking for a permanent full or part time Chef to join our team who is passionate about food and work in a team.

Ideal requirements of the Chef:

• Have a real passion for food.
• Enthusiastic and hard working
• Previous experience of working in a busy environment.
• Ability to work under pressure
• Creative to help drive the menu
• Passion for presenting every dish as beautifully as the first.
• Experience working with fresh food.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions & work to detailed specifications. The main tasks: –
• Working with the team in menu planning
• Food preparation, cooking & presenting dishes according to company requirements & customer preferences/dietary requirements
• Be able to run the kitchen as part of a team on as an individual
• Communication with team members to ensure fast, efficient service.
• Place orders at the end of the night
• Food safety procedures and maintaining a safe & hygienic workplace What we offer in return:
