Position: Chef at Sodexo, RDGs’ WOs’ & SGTs’ Mess, Battlesbury Barracks.

Assist with the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a busy kitchen environment

Maintain exceptional standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines

Work closely with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding customer service

Prepare and serve meals to military personnel, consistently delivering high standards
–
Oversee kitchen cleanliness and ensure sanitation best practices are always followed
–
Support high-profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary skills

Take part in bulk cooking while maintaining consistency, quality, and presentationWhat we’re looking for:
–
Professional chef/cook experience within a catering or hospitality setting
–
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
–
Ability to perform well in a high-pressure, team-focused environment
–
A genuine passion for cooking and delivering excellent serviceDesirable Skills:
–
Experience in military or government catering environments
–
IOSH qualification or equivalent
–
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)What we offer:
