Chef De Partie

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our busy kitchen team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and cook dishes according to recipes and presentation standards Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Assist with meal assembly and plating to ensure visual appeal Follow health and safety guidelines at all times during food preparation and service Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy periods Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or supply issues Maintain equipment cleanliness, including washing utensils, pots, pans, and work surfaces Experience Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices Experience in meal preparation and serving within a fast-paced setting is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Enthusiasm for culinary arts with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques
