Duties

• Assist in food preparation, ensuring ingredients are prepared according to recipes and standards
• Support chefs with cooking tasks, including plating and presentation of dishes
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
• Supervise junior staff and coordinate team efforts during busy service periods
• Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
• Ensure all food safety procedures are followed diligently
• Serve dishes to customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service
• Help with organising kitchen schedules and delegating tasks as needed
• Contribute ideas for menu development and presentation enhancements Experience
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is desirable
• Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen equipment
• Proven supervisory or team management experience within a culinary environment
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
• Experience in restaurant or catering services, including serving guests, is advantageous
• Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate team members
