- CDP – Kong bar & roof garden – Glasgow City Centre
About Us Kong is a vibrant all day venue where great food, drinks, and music come together. Our menu showcases bold, flavour packed dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Food is served from midday through to late in a lively, fast paced atmosphere.
We are looking for a CDP, experienced or new, to join our close & established team.
- What you’ll be doing
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and workstations
- Adhere to food safety regulations and ensure proper food handling practices are followed
- Collaborate with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours
- Participate in catering events and banquets as required About you
- Previous experience working in a kitchen at Chef de Partie level (enthusiastic Commis Chefs will also be considered)
- A positive, team focused attitude with a willingness to support colleagues when needed
- Familiarity with dietary, allergen and food safety requirements & regulations
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry What We Offer
