Chef De Partie

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team in a busy Italian steakhouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for running a designated section of the kitchen, with a focus on preparing high-quality steaks, authentic pizzas, and fresh pasta dishes. You will work closely with the Head Chef to deliver consistent, high-standard dishes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section to a high standard
• Cook and grill steaks to specification, ensuring quality and consistency
• Prepare authentic Italian pizzas and pasta dishes using fresh ingredients
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation
• Ensure all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards are followed (in line with UK regulations)
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Assist junior staff and support their development where required Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up
• Experience in steakhouse, grill, or Italian cuisine preferred
• Knowledge of meat preparation, cooking temperatures, and resting techniques
• Experience with pizza ovens and fresh pasta preparation desirable
• Strong understanding of food hygiene standards (Level 2 Food Safety preferred)
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented Desirable:
• Experience working with charcoal or Josper grill
• Knowledge of Italian ingredients and traditional cooking methods What We Offer:
