Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring all food safety standards are met. Must have at least 2 years experience in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Ensure all dishes are prepared efficiently and served promptly
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
- Understanding of food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
