We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook/CDP to join our team at All Things Nice in Marple.
We are a cafe and bakery during the day, and a small plate restaurant on a Friday and Saturday evening. Our kitchen opening hours are 8am-3pm Mon-Thurs, 8am-9pm Friday and Saturday, and 9:30am-2pm on Sunday.
As such, this role would suit an experienced chef who has become tired of working late nights and doubles week-in week-out.
As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals in a fast-paced, kitchen. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a similar environment.
- Duties
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner and meets presentation standards
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Assist with food inventory and ordering as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Assist with other kitchen duties as assigned
- Experience
- Previous experience working in a professional kitchen required
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
