We are looking for a dynamic and hard working chef to join our team on a part time basis initially, with the opportunity to work full time from July, if they wish to do so.
We are an independent bistro that specialises in small plates, wood fired pizzas and constantly changing daily specials.
We also have a small deli and wine shop as part of our offer, so preparing sharing platters and deli dishes is an another part of the job.
Reliability, good timekeeping and enthusiasm is an essential for this role. We have an open kitchen, so a customer facing attitude is also very important.
Time management, excellent personal hygiene, a solid knowledge and practice of food hygiene and safety are also key to this role.
Wood fired pizza skills are desirable but training can be given.
A share of tips makes up the hourly rate considerably.
