Job description
As Chef de Partie at The Millhouse Hotel, we are looking for someone with a positive can-do attitude to drive exceptional standards and guest experience. We are a busy hotel and restaurant so previous experience working in a fast paced environment is essential.You will be responsible for the following:

* Take care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the Head Chef or superior to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant.
* Follows instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks.
* Supervise junior chefs and/or commis.
* Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.
* Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times.
* Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis.
* Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation.
What are we looking for?
* Previous experience in the same or similar role (2+ years within same role is desirable)
* Food Safety Level 2 or equivalent. Food Allergen training desirable
* Passionate about staying ahead of industry trends, possessing a creative flair
* Ability to work well under pressure
* Previous experience within the hotel industry
* Enthusiastic can do attitude
