Commis Chef

Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent, Commis Chef for an established restaurant based in Chinnor, Oxfordshire
This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings
The role is paying £25560pa + Service Charge (up to £3000 per year)
– No Monday working as restaurant is closed
– Sunday lunchtime working only
– Allocated one extra evening off per week.
– Split Shifts required between shifts/straight through working
– Car parking on site
– Live in options available for a small fee
Overall Objective:
To prepare, cook and serve meals that meet the standards set by the Head Chef.
A Commis Chef assists a section chef, also known as a Chef de Partie. The role is made up of many varying responsibilities including:
– Assisting in the food preparation process
– Cooking and preparing elements of high quality dishes
– Preparing vegetables, meats and fish
– Assisting other Chefs
– Helping with deliveries and restocking
– Assisting with stock rotation/Cleaning stations
– Contributing to maintaining kitchen and food safety standards.
