THE SHIP INN in ELIE is looking for talented Commis BBQ Chef and Breakfast Chef We are a community pub in the heart of the picturesque village of Elie, Fife. We pride ourselves in producing delicious locally procured food, including using our own home-grown vegetables and our own locally bred pork. We delight in discovering delicious and interesting ales from around Scotland, alongside creating a wine list of elegant wines to suit all tastes. We have 6 beautiful and individually designed bedrooms all overlooking the beach.

• You will keep well-organised store-rooms and inventories that allow for smooth running kitchens. About you
• You’ll be a Commis Chef, Chef de Partie or Sous Chef that lives and breathes food and drink, knowing what’s hot and what’s not, but you’ll also be a pragmatist who can compromise in order to deliver what our guests want.
• You’ll be an absolute stickler for quality.
• You make people feel good – your team, guests and colleagues alike.
• Methodical and process-driven approach to tasks, but also able to work flexibly and calmly to meet deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership of important issues, solve problems and make effective decisions.
