Head Chef

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety. • Duties
• Prepare and cook food items according to specified recipes and standards
• Assist in the organisation and setup of the kitchen before service
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations throughout shifts
• Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
• Assist with meal plating and presentation to ensure visual appeal
• Support in training junior kitchen staff as required Requirements
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
• Experience with meal preparation and culinary techniques
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Previous kitchen experience, preferably within a busy restaurant setting
• Good understanding of serving procedures and customer service principles
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
