Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced pizza Chef to join our team at La Piazza in the Piece Hall Halifax. As a pizza Chef, you will play a vital role in preparing authentic hand stretched pizza freshly prepaired to order. Your expertise will contribute directly to our mission of providing top-tier food services.

Responsibilities

• As a Pizza Chef you will be responsible for creating Authentic hand stretched traditional Italian -style pizzas using traditional techniques and high-quality ingredients.
• Ensure the consistency of our pizza offerings by following established recipes and methods, maintaining the high standards that our customers expect.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to coordinate and streamline pizza production, contributing to the overall success of the shop.
• Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and finished products, ensuring that every pizza meets our standards.
• Engage with customers and provide an immersive dining experience by showcasing your passion for pizza-making.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and organised workspace, promoting a safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Oversee daily kitchen operations ensuring high standards of food quality and safety.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with management on menu planning and new dish development. Requirements
• Proven experience as a Pizza Chef,
• Our kitchen staff are expected to work tirelessly to ensure food quality is consistently at a high standard and in line with company menu specs.
• Furthermore, the kitchen must be maintained to a high level of cleanliness ensuring due diligence and EHO requirements are always adhered to.
• A genuine love for the art of making pizza.
• Strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff.
• Willingness to adapt to the unique requirements and standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication skills. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS

The ideal candidate must have 2 years’ experience in a kitchen environment

• Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
• Pay: £15.00 per hour
