Head Chef

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of food preparation, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation. Duties

• Lead and supervise the kitchen team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee food production, ensuring dishes meet quality standards and are prepared in a timely manner.
• Manage food safety protocols, maintaining cleanliness and compliance with health regulations.
• Develop and update restaurant and event menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative culinary ideas.
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste.
• Train staff on food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and service standards.
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork and high morale. Experience
• Proven supervising experience within a professional kitchen environment.
• Extensive food production and culinary experience across diverse cuisines.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively.
• Solid background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
• Previous restaurant, hospitality and event catering experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential.
• Experience serving guests in a high-volume setting is advantageous.
