Head Chef

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Head Pizza Chef to lead our culinary team in creating exceptional pizza dishes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities

• Lead the pizza kitchen team, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operation and high-quality output
• Oversee all aspects of pizza preparation, including dough making, topping selection, and baking techniques
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and hygiene standards within the kitchen
• Develop new pizza recipes and menu offerings to keep the menu innovative and appealing
• Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients
• Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction
• Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to uphold consistency in food quality and presentation
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen at all times, complying with health and safety protocols Skills
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management within a busy restaurant environment
• Strong culinary skills specialising in pizza making, including dough handling and topping assembly
• Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
• Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising kitchen staff or teams
• Ability to innovate with recipes while maintaining consistency in quality
• Good organisational skills for managing inventory and ensuring smooth kitchen operations
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and front-of-house staff
