Head Chef

A busy, award winning village stores and cafe is looking for an experienced Head Chef, to oversee and manage two kitchens. This is a key position within the business, which will be reflected in the proposed package. We are looking for an ‘all-rounder’ who is able to work unsupervised but also lead and help in the development of a dedicated team. Relevant experience is a must and a passion to deliver the very best is crucial to the role. This is a position that is flexible and therefore open to discussion, to suit both the needs of the business and the individual. No evenings or split shifts. but will include some weekends. We are looking for a ‘special’ someone with the vision to grow the business, whilst developing their own skill sets both as a Chef and as a potential business partner. The Bircham Stores & Cafe is in a semi-rural location, with limited public transport. The ability therefore to get to and from work is a fundamental consideration if applying for the position.
