Location: Greenside Row, Edinburgh, EH1 3AN
Rate of Pay: £36,000 – £39,000 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday – Friday, daytime hours, occasional evening overtime
Key Responsibilities:
– To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
– Reporting directly into the Executive Head Chef
– You will be responsible for delivering exceptional dining and food experiences
– Operating from a purpose built and brand new hospitality kitchen, our Events and Hospitality service
– From meeting room lunches to fine dining, this is a role where working as part of a tightly knit team is a crucial factor
– Looking after hospitality and events
– Leading a team of 4 chefs
– To produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customers
– To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
– To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
– To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
– Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
– Overall responsibility for managing the kitchen team
– Provide feedback and coaching on performance
– To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene training
