A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Head Chef to join a beautifully located, well-loved village pub in Padstow. This is a key leadership role within the kitchen, contributing directly to the ongoing success and reputation of the business.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a passionate and driven Head Chef with a strong appreciation for local produce and seasonal cooking. You will bring previous experience in a similar role and be ready to hit the ground running, taking ownership of the kitchen and inspiring your team.
Key Responsibilities
• Thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure kitchen environment
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge of seasonal ingredients and traditional dishes
• Communicate clearly and confidently, showing natural authority
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene
• Lead by example and work collaboratively with the wider team
• Provide strong leadership, mentoring and developing junior chefs
• Recruit and manage a seasonal kitchen team as required

• Competitive salary up to £40,000pa DOE
