Job Summary We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to deliver exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess culinary expertise, and a passion for food presentation and safety. This role involves overseeing food preparation, service during our opening hours, preparing food for events and ensuring the highest 5* standards of quality and hygiene are maintained at all times. The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in maintaining the reputation of our establishment through innovative menu development and efficient kitchen management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the kitchen to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards.
• Oversee food production processes, ensuring consistency, freshness, and presentation.
• Manage food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor stock levels, put together orders for supplies, and manage inventory efficiently.
• Collaborate with management to plan special events or themed menus.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times. Requirements
• Proven experience in a culinary role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Extensive knowledge of food production, preparation, cooking techniques, and presentation.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations.
• Good organisational skills with attention to detail in food quality and hygiene standards.
• Experience in menu development and inventory management is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
