Head Chef

Overview We are seeking Head and Sous Chefs in delivering an exceptional burger experience at our brand new location – HELCH Food Hall in Winchester. The ideal candidate will possess prior knowledge of food preparation, handling, safety and kitchen operations (opening / closing). You will support in delivering the highest quality of dishes served to our customers in person and via delivery platforms.

Duties Prepare and serve innovative burgers that reflect current culinary trends and classic flavour combinations using some of the best local ingredients.

Ensure the quality of food preparation meets the restaurant’s standards for taste and presentation.

Collaborate with HELCH front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area.

You will need to be comfortable working alone, taking orders and customer interaction necessary in a professional manner. Managing your time and kitchen stock levels, as well as proficiently understanding all kitchen procedures, comfortable enough to facilitate an audit from EHO.

Experience Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen or hospitality environment.

Knowledge of food preparation methods, safety standards, opening & closing.

Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively.

A passion for cooking and creating memorable dining experiences for customers.
