Kitchen Porter

We are a lovely privately owned care home situated in the heart of East Grinstead and are seeking to employ a Kitchen Porter.
Experience would be an advantage, however training can be given.
The main duties of the role are:-
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Prepare all food stuffs if requested by the Chef and filling condiments when required
• Assist and execute various kitchen duties such as ensuring cleaning schedules are adhered to
• Washing up and dealing with spillages within the servery and kitchen
• Operating the dishwasher and ensuring the correct amount of product is used.
• Sweep and mop kitchen floor
• Regular steam clean of kitchen
Liaise with care staff and Service Users in a polite and person-centred way
Shift hours are: Sunday – 09.00am-2.45pm and other hours to cover annual leave and sickness when required
Candidates must have the Right to Work in the UK. Employment is subject to an Enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references.
