POSITION SUMMARY
Our Hearth of House Specialist are integral part of our teams and play an important role in support of a number of vital hotel functions. At our hotels these associates work in the kitchen to support cleaning needs. Whether preparing fresh clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests to enjoy, operating and maintaining cleaning equipment and tools (e.g., dish washing machines, hand wash stations, linen washers and dryers), or transporting dishware or linens across the hotel, these associates do whatever it takes to get the job done.

What you’ll be doing
Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu
Clean kitchen equipment, crockery and kitchen area
Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
What we’re looking for
Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Previous kitchen experience is a big plus
This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional appearance in a clean uniform are also required. Prior to employment, we’ll ask you to complete safety training and certification.
