Personal Assistant needed to support 15 year old female with a diagnosis of Cerebral Visual Impairment, dyspraxia, Global Developmental Delay and multisensory impairment due to her vision and hearing needs. She is partially sighted but is a free reader and has a significant speech and language delay. She is reliant on support staff to facilitate her learning.
Support needed
Support after school to include homework, especially support maths, speech and languageExperience of using technology to record workCooking dinner including cooking life skillsSupport with a safe route to the shop, road crossing with the dog.Will also need occasional time at weekends or school holidays to cover more life skills like getting a bus, going to the shops, paying for items, etc.
Hours
2 hours per week during term time and 6 hours per week during the holidays
Availability
Can be flexible, after school once or twice a week, occasional weekends or school holidays.
Hourly rate
£16.47 for self-employed PA’s.
