• £34,000 to £35,000 per annum + Bonus
• 40 Hours / 5 over 7days / Early and Late shifts (between 4am to 10.30pm)
• Airport Security Clearance will be required

This is an exciting opportunity for a strong, hands-on chef who enjoys working with fresh ingredients and delivering high-quality food in a fast-paced, premium environment. You’ll support the Head Chef in running the kitchen day-to-day, leading shifts, guiding the team and ensuring smooth service across both buffet and à la carte dining. The role will also involve working across the live cooking station, preparing fresh dishes directly for guests and helping create a more engaging, personalised dining experience.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining standards, supporting stock control and helping develop the team, making this a great opportunity for a Sous Chef looking to grow within a high-profile operation.

What You’ll Do:

• To plan, supervise, deliver and present the food and beverages as per the Emirates Lounge specification. Supervise, guide and coach the assigned staff to ensure an efficient operation of the Emirates Lounge.
• Interact with customers by explaining the food and beverages on offer. Gauge needs and makes recommendations to meet the exact needs of the Emirates premium customers.
• Ensure that all H&S & F&S documentation for example cleaning schedules and temperature records are signed off daily once all tasks have been completed.
• Comply with all legal and company procedures relating to food safety, health and safety and personal hygiene.
• Responsible for the presentation of all food and beverage, ensuring quality, quantity are consistently monitored, maintained and display is as per set specification.
• Ensure buffet and stock levels of all food and beverage items are properly maintained and replenished regularly as required and in accordance with food and safety standards. • What You Bring:
• Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up
• Background in hotel, fine dining or quality restaurant environments
• Experience working in high-volume kitchens
• Strong experience in cooking fresh food from scratch
• Good understanding of kitchen operations, stock control and food preparation planning
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
• Food Safety Level 2 minimum
