Sous Chef

Quantum Care is a not for profit company providing high quality care services for over 2000 older people in Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Essex. We need the right people to join us and provide the best possible care to our residents, offering support, maintaining dignity and assisting them to enjoy every day living in our Homes.

Sous Chef Full time – 37 hours per week, alternate weekends required Pay – £15.55 per hour weekdays / £16.55 per hour weekends As a Sous Chef you will provide a safe, quality, cost effective catering service to all customers and help create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our residents.

Your Skills:

• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
• Knowledge of food safety and practices.
• Need to undertake relevant training and CPD.
• Experience of the standards of hygiene used in food preparation.
• Experience of food preparation, cooking and service.
• You’ll provide homely meals for our residents, meeting a diverse range of dietary requirements.
• You must be able to work well as part of a team and have good communications skills.
