Sous Chef – Formula 1 £36,000 – £38,000 + travel expenses and per diems A world-class Formula 1 team is seeking a passionate and highly skilled Junior Sous Chef to join our elite hospitality and catering operation.
This role sits at the heart of a high-performance environment where precision, timing, and consistency matter as much as creativity. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional, performance-driven cuisine to support athletes and engineers operating at the very limit of performance. The menu will include a range of high-level pasta dishes alongside nutritionally balanced meals designed to fuel long days, sustain intense focus, and power race-winning moments!
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing high-quality Italian / pasta dishes to a consistently exceptional standard
- Maintaining authenticity while adapting to performance-focused nutritional needs
- Collaborating closely with the Head Chef to plan and prepare menus well in advance, ensuring balanced and well-structured options for both guests and the team.
- Working efficiently in a fast-paced environment, supporting the team with setting up/breaking down the kitchen in each destination
- Upholding the highest standards of hygiene, organisation, and presentation
- The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years experience
- Fluent in Italian and English
- The ability and willingness to travel worldwide throughout the F1 season
- Strong discipline, reliability, and attention to detail
- A calm, professional approach under pressure
