Sous Chef

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced chef to help oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a good background in food production and preparation. This role requires a passion for hospitality and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As support chef you will be assisting the kitchen manager to help ensure efficient kitchen operations, and delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

• Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation.
• Help develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Help implement cost control measures to maintain budgetary guidelines while ensuring quality.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth. Experience
• Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing staff.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality sector.
• Previous experience in a kitchen environment is essential.
