Live-In available Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Chef to join their kitchen team as a Sous Chef.
The Hotel Folk have a fantastic opportunity as they are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Sous Chef to join their team at Ogilvie’s Restaurant based at Thorpeness Golf Club and Hotel , and also covering our leading coastal events venue at Thorpeness Country Club .
We are looking for a professional and hard-working Senior Sous Chef with a passion for food, who will be able to support the Head Chef in managing and motivating the kitchen team. You must have a minimum of 3 years’ previous experience in a sous chef position in a hotel or restaurant which must include a la carte restaurant and banqueting knowledge. You will be required to assist the Head Chef to plan and deliver balanced menus that offer interest, quality and are to a consistently high standard. You will deputise and have total responsibility for the Kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence, and work alongside and supervise a team of 8 chefs and 12 kitchen porters.

We do have a live-in accommodation available within walking distance of the hotel.
