Sous Chef

Award winning West Suffolk country pub is looking for a sous chef to work with a talented head chef and hands on owners to deliver a fantastic small daily changing menu using the very best ingredients East Anglia & The British isles has to offer.

The pub has gained a solid reputation over the last five years as one of the leading dining venues in the region, has 55 covers & 2 kitchen areas including an open pass. recently listed by the good food guide as one of the top 100 pubs in the UK, alongside 5 gold stars for accommodation from the AA This is a serious operation and the owners are hands on experienced individuals who work alongside the kitchen team to deliver outstanding service every day.

This is an opportunity for a super passionate individual to show what they are capable of and to take a step up, paired with a fantastic head chef & professional FOH team that have worked at Michelin star level in a management capacity, a carefully curated wine list and fantastic dining environment, this pub is set up for success.

We want in individual who knows how to have fun whilst at work – banter is a must, whilst at the same time having an ironclad work ethic.

This person will journey with us and share in the fruits of our success by means of a good tip share (approx £4-£5k per year) & competitive salary for size of venue we understand work/life balance so expect a working week of no more than 45 hours & zero phone calls from owners when you are away from the business!
