This spring, Ebb will open inside Worthing’s iconic Art Deco Pavilion, positioned at the very end of the pier with stunning sea views, bird murmurations, and unforgettable sunsets.
With just 38 covers, the restaurant will feel intimate and personal but the ambition is big: exceptional food and drinks delivered with warmth, precision, and style.
Our open kitchen will champion seasonal produce, transformed into bold, modern small plates — creative, vibrant, and full of flavour. Expect a cocktail-led bar, carefully considered wines, great music, and low lighting — all wrapped in a hospitality style that’s refined, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming. Every detail will matter.
Preview Launch: April Before our full public opening, we’ll run a preview launch from April, giving the opening team the chance to shape Ebb from the very beginning — how it feels, how it flows, and what we become.
This is a rare opportunity to be part of something from day one, helping to build the menu, culture, and kitchen standards before we fully launch.
The Role
We’re looking for a talented and driven Sous Chef to work closely with our Head Chef in delivering and evolving our seasonal small-plates menu.
You’re a confident, hands-on chef with strong experience in a quality-driven kitchen. You thrive in a fast-paced service, care deeply about presentation and flavour, and take pride in running a smooth, organised section.
You’re ambitious, reliable, and excited by the opportunity to be part of an opening team — helping to shape not just the food, but the culture of the kitchen.
