We source direct from Italy and local producers utilising the best seasonal produce they have to offer allowing us to showcase unique dishes throughout the year. Our ever changing menu is popular for our regular customers and tourism to Clevedon – traditional home (Italian) cooking is what makes us different to the rest!

Responsibilities

• Full operational control over the day to day running of the kitchen when running shift / in the absence of our Head Chef.
• Ensuring every plate that leaves the kitchen is presented to the best and highest quality.m and maintaining those standards at all times.
• To ensure that the work area is kept to health and safety standards including; cleaning, open and close checks.
• Assisting when teaching new / current employees on their skills for optimal development.
• To monitor all stock movement and rotation. Qualities
• We are looking for a current and proven Sous Chef to help us keep pushing and developing however, a very serious and organised Junior Sous (3+ years) or newly appointed Sous would be considered.
• You would need to share our passion and understanding of good quality produce.
• Ambition, creativity and the ability to work in a small and friendly team is a must. Benefits
• Shifts – 5 day working week, 2 days off in a row every week.
• Overtime – Get paid for any hours worked beyond your contracted days at your normal hourly rate.
• Seasonal time off – Closed Christmas Eve evening through to Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.
