Sous Chef

Junior Sous Chef required for this fast paced, University kitchen. Working in the main kitchen, you will be working as part of a team, cooking everything from scratch, producing a daily changing, 3 choice menu, alongside a range of lighter meals
As Junior Sous Chef you will be working as part of a friendly team, liaising with the Head Chef and other Sous Chefs. Your duties will include supervising Chef de Parties ensuring that daily prep is completed on time and to the correct standards
The Head Chef is looking for somebody with experience of cooking with fresh ingredients, ideally with previous experience of working in Hotels, Restaurants, Colleges, Universities, or higher end Contract Caterers.
Applicants will need to live in the Cambridge, Duxford or Newmarket area
Located 10-15 minutes from the train station
Working straight shifts with a mixture of early or midday starts and every other weekend off

Salary from £35,500 + £1,000 Bonus
