Job Overview We are seeking a talented and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant meal preparation and food safety, with a flair for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes. As a Cook you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, delivering high-quality meals that exceed our guests’ expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
• Oversee food preparation processes to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to create innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and operated safely.
• Assist in the development of new recipes and presentation techniques to enhance the dining experience. Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Chef/Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant setting.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation is essential.
