Sous Chef

Key responsibilities
Manage a team of 4 to deliver busy breakfast and lunch service.
Oversee all aspects of health & safety, quality, and achieving commercial targets.
Ensure consistently high standards of food quality, presentation, and timely service for up to approximately 180 covers per day.
Deliver contract catering and canteen-style service.
Support the Chef Manager with food production, menu writing, and developing innovative food ideas.
Lead the kitchen in the Chef Manager’s absence.
Maintain excellent cooking skills with attention to detail and presentation.
Work efficiently under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Demonstrate strong leadership and effective communication skills.
