Sous Chefs are at the heart of our kitchens, with a true passionate focus on delivering exceptional dishes whilst guiding their brigade forward at Danson Stables.  Do you have…  High standard of food knowledge and skill with an eagerness to deliver delicious food using only fresh ingredients at Danson Stables  The experience to assist in managing and supervising the kitchen team  An up-to-date COSHH, Food Safety, H&S, legal knowledge  A willingness to develop on a personal level in this quickly expanding collection of pubs.  Some of the things you will be doing as a Sous Chef  Produce high-quality dishes in line with the specifications at Danson Stables  Supporting the Head Chef with recruitment and induction of new team members  Ensure that the kitchen always operates effectively and efficiently   Deputise in the absence of a Head Chef planning and directing food preparation where necessary  Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and take control of any problematic situation  Manage and train kitchen team to ensure overall team performance is at its highest at all times  Order supplies and stock inventory appropriately  Overseeing deliveries  Conduct kitchen audits in line with company expectations, always maintaining the operational standards  Assist with stock-taking and periodic audits  A little bit about us…  We’re a small batch of handpicked locals – your home for British hospitality.
