The Best Connection Newport is currently recruiting for an Experienced Cook to join a well-established kitchen in the NP15 area. This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside a Head Chef and Sous Chef in a professional and supportive environment.
The Role
You will support the kitchen team in preparing and cooking meals to a high standard, ensuring all food hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities
– Supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef with daily kitchen duties
– Preparing and cooking meals to a high standard
– Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment
– Following all food safety and hygiene regulations
Requirements
– Previous experience in a cooking or kitchen role
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Reliable with good timekeeping
– Own transport is essential due to the rural location
Working Hours
– Approximately 30 hours per week
– 08:30 – 16:30
– Alternate weekends required
Pay Rate
– £12.71 per hour
