Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards
• Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including training and mentoring team members
• Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations
• Organise kitchen operations during service hours, ensuring timely delivery of orders
• Assist in menu planning and development to keep offerings innovative and appealing
• Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
• Serve food to customers when required, providing excellent hospitality service Requirements
• Proven experience in a culinary or kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
• Supervising experience with strong team management skills
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and ensure smooth operations
• Passion for culinary arts with a creative approach to menu development
